This app is amazing, takes a second to fiddle around and figure out the controls, but it's extremely simple and easy to use once you figure it out 100%. I use this app 5 days a week for a local government job, and I really appreciate the simplicity of use. I like that it allows for local saving on the device (most others use exclusively cloud, which is data heavy, and not necessarily as reliable as hardware based data. After trying others, will continue with QField. Thank you, devs.

great but need to be able to access cloud storage as files are easier to get then. i had to plug my phone into the laptop and move the file to my folder as i could not get to it otherwise. not with google drive nor with my s folder. Update after qfield.cloud was integrated: Fantastic app. You definitely need to know QGIS and it can take a while to set up data input fields but once it is done (correctly), works very well. Thank you for the best free app like this out there.

Amazingly versatile and works seamlessly with QGIS desktop once you know the procedures. It has been great watching the continuous development of this app into a full-fledged field with so much versatility. Love how the devs have made all the usefulness of maps and data available while curating an equally complex and approachable UI for phones.

Positional Settings connection type for Bluetooth (NMEA) doesn't seem to be working on my devices. I've tried to connect to a Roving GNSS Receiver, but non of the paired devices appears. What could be the issue?

Hello good evening, I am would like to ask on how you made the app?? I am developing a similar one but for a specific plant and would like your opinion on how to incorporate a mapping system. Thank you very much for the reply

Have only had limited opportunity to use it for viewing project files so far, nothing more advanced. Although the project files do include WFS and WMS layers. Have upgraded review from 3* to 4* given recent improvements. Constructive so far: # Fields with long text strings are still impossible to read in attribute viewer. # "Recent Projects" UI items don't respond to interaction vs take time to load so it's hard to tell if touches have been ed by the app.

Mapping on the go. A great application. I used it my final year project. From getting started with the project in QGIS desktop, configuring various settings, installing the application in an android device to using the application in data collection both offline and online was simple. The UI is great , no ads (that's a plus), camera is working quite well. The application rarely crushes: very stable. GPS accuracy is great. Lastly, using QField Sync plugin with the app was great experience

This 5 star is not without struggle, long story short I couldn't edit a point layer in qfield, spent a long time troubleshooting to figure out it was a bracket in a field name which essentially resulted in a layer which you couldn't edit (within qfield), but could both add and sync to. So thats a bit strange, other thing to note when syncing via cable, you need the file within Q's storage, not your import folder, doesn't seem to work out of that one. All in all, could be more friendly.
