It's almost perfect. My only complaint is no offline maps. I ride in the mountains a lot, and I'm able to plan rises ahead of time and use my beeline moto2 in the mountains, I'm not able to plan a new route with signal. The ability to offline maps like you can with Google Maps would be a game changer for me.

Love it. I use the Velo 2 for my bike rides. Love being able to plan a loop for a set amount of distance. Also love that you can add stops for where you want to go and it'll set up the perfect loop for you with the stop being the midpoint. Very easy to read navigation as well.

Im a little disappointed the app makes it seem like you can use it without an but then requires an to pair a device. Its for no good reason. Aside from the small dark pattern the app is very fast, intuitive, and provides high quality routes. I really like the generate function! Overall itd be nice to use a beeline device without needing a mobile app or phone as they do provide a too notch experience.

Happy 1st gen Beeline Moto customer for two years. I recently upgraded to BLM.2 and tested it on a ride across Florida, 200+ miles each way. Larger and brighter display worked great, even in the direct Florida sun. I love the new USB-C charging. One less cable to deal with. The new, more detailed map graphic was flawless and intuitive. I LOVED being able to easily flip to the ride info screen and see my ETA time at a glance. A+. Just let me easily switch between my V.1 and my new V.2 :)

It's not perfect, but it's simple intuitive and provides you choices on how busy the roads on your route are. You can also choose a traditional map with turn by turn indicators or an elegant black screen with simple directional arrows and the distance until your turn. Also, another feature is the com route. You pick a destination and it simply tells you how far in a straight line to it and leaves you to find the way....whichever roads you take to get there are up to you!

The audio directions are so bad I can't cycle for more than 3 minutes without going off route and it keeps deleting the way point and sends me home. It doesn't deal with going straight at a cross junctions instead directing you to perform a left and immediate right, it often doesn't give directions at roundabouts and took me through a field even though I'd set it to hard surfaces only. It appears to have not gone through even a little quality control. I'm amazed it released in this beta state.

Device is OK, app is pure fail whale. Lacking Google's mapping it cannot tell if I'm on a highway or a parallel surface street over 100' away, which leads to bad directions. Also, doesn't display turn direction until I am on top of an intersection. Am I turning right or left off a 3 or 4 lane road while doing 50 MPH? No idea, Beeline can't tell me until I'm feet away from it, then the arrow flips 90⁰ immediately, when it's too late. Nifty hardware rendered useless garbage by poor app.

The basic idea from a few years ago was promising, but they havent really added any features their customer base have asked for since the moto first came out. At this point google maps has left them in the dust. Their lack of offline rerouting, lack of a highway mode, lack of traffic updates, lack of voice guidance or even flashing alarm have made the 200$ beeline a worse, less reliable GPS than a pair of 20$ earbuds and Google maps audible.Get a smartwatch too and the moto is pointless. Too bad..
