Overall the messaging is fine but the telephone application has very serious problems on connectivity. Most phone calls sound absolutely terrible at best and disconnect more often than they connect. As far as exchanging media it depends on your coverage but loading seems to be slow although you can send photos and texts just fine. Definitely a solid 3 out of 5 Stars plenty of room for improvement but for a base utility it works.

This is a very good app. I pray that all of my conversations have been safe. When I was dealing with all the meta-verse apps I always had issues with being hacked, please don't let me get hacked here. There were some issues when it came to my video calls; there were times that the video froze and my party and I had trouble hearing and seeing each other - otherwise the messaging service with the sending photos and documents was not an issue. There will be higher ratings only when all is well.

This is a godsend for having some privacy and still being able to interact with people. The features that I found convenient were the fact that when the other person responds if you sent them a message and they haven't been online. As soon as they start getting online it tells you and it shows they're writing. It was simple and easy to use and very convenient. It even gives you the option to unsend for you and the other person if you send something in a rant. Great for privacy.

It's a pretty good app, everything seems to work BUT, with iPhone, you can hang up via Bluetooth. Using android, you have to search for the damn app, open it, find the phone call then hit the red hang up button, pain in the A$$. You might have to reboot several times to get your connection to work but OK when it actually does. In response to their reply: thank you for listening, I will change my review after the changes come out... good luck.

I would be more in the middle of higher, unfortunately waiting for network and dropped calls is the reason why. I got fastest Internet in my area and faster than most businesses at 10 gigs and still waiting for network and dropping calls. The text are not the issue, waiting for replies to only get after several mins does. The dropped calls and having to call 2-3 times back with same result just to revert back to texting is ridiculous. Yes, I have already checked my settings and looked them over.

Hands down the best app to use in slow internet connections. Best app to use when travelling to countries with slow and restricted internet. On low data setting... this app out performs everything else I used. The app does have a few annoying bugs.... but it is a small price to pay... when other apps fail due to connectivity issues... this app performs... Update. This app went downhill in the last couple months. Video chats no longer work. Calls don't show up... always shows me a missed call.

Not sure why I'd want to use this instead of Signal. Although Video Chat in low data uses less bandwidth than Signal in low bandwidth, it is also much worse video quality, and with low data off, Signal uses much less bandwidth. Overall, the interface seems much more jumbled than Signal, doesn't offer everything Signal can do, and you have to pay for some of the things you can do for free on Signal.

I personally love the app. I do sometimes have a problem with my phone not ringing when someone calls me from the app and I don't understand what it means when I call someone and I get a message saying this person may not be available for calls even if I know they are. It just won't ring through to them. My boyfriend has a lot of problems. He's unable to take or send photos even from his gallery and I'm upset cuz he says it won't allow him to video chat
