I am responding to the previous comment made by Gerardo. There seems to be some misunderstanding here about the game. Mancala, at least the version of the game played here (and there are many) is a "perfect game" in the sense that the player who moves first and makes the best move on each turn, will always win. As such, in practical play, the player who moves first has a huge advantage. For example, I just played a player ranked 2000 ELO points higher than me and easily beat that player because I was able to move first. All of the top players know this and many of the lower ranked players suspect this. The top players want to protect their ELO rating and will purposely avoid playing lower ranked players out of fear of losing rating points if they do not get to move first. And even if they do get to move first, the higher rated player will only get a few ELO points when beating a much lower ranked player. So there is not much incentive for them to play lower ranked players. Since this mancala app allows you to choose your opponent, there is a lot of declines on invites made in the game for the reasons stated above. Another more popular mancala game in the Play Store does not allow the player to choose his opponent and does not allow a player to decline to play without loosing the game. So in that app, there is much more games taking place than in this app. My suggestion to the app developer is to use the same format for this app so there is more people playing and less people declining to play.

UPDATE: I enjoyed the game's graphics and being able to play offline. The structure was similar to that of their other games (like Mills). I hadn't played for awhile and came back to play today. The entire structure & design was completely changed! I don't like the way it looks now at all! The pieces are very cartoonish and smaller (hard to see!). I had given the app 5 stars a few months ago. Changed it to 1 & uninstalled until they bring the former structure & design back.

Awful. The app plays an ad after every offline game. Is that really necessary? If it wasnt for that, the core game is completely acceptable. However, as it stands, it is basically unplayable past one or two games due to having to click past three screens of ments after every game. Would not recommend to anyone.

This is quite easily the best mancala app in of UI and design. The only thing thats keeping it from being perfect is the lack of implementation of the "pie rule". It is a known fact that 1st player wins with perfect play thus 2nd player is disadvantaged. The devs should consider adding the "pie rule" which adds the option of letting the 2nd player switch sides after the 1st player makes the first move. This makes the game more balanced. Hope you take this into consideration.

UPDATE: they updated the game and completely ruined everything i liked about it. It was a simple layout that was easy to use and now it's difficult to even find a match with anyone. It repeats & glitches turns now. They ruined the mechanics, speed, graphics, pretty much everything I liked about it. I loved this game and played it for hours before this. Idk why they chose to ruin a perfectly good game... Look at their response below "haters gonna hate", incredibly unprofessional, like children.

There is no reason to rematch, it should be required. No one ever does. Not only are the ads directly invasive, you have to watch them just to operate the main screen. That main screen is often hard to even navigate because of how many offers to play are coming in. Maybe when someone makes a public offer it shouldn't count as a personal invitation. *Just a thought.*

Nice game, but has a few flaws. I am constantly matching with people way better than me (judging both by gameplay and Elo), but I get there is not so many players so match making can be difficult. also matches with friends and bots doesn't counts for score, which I think is not necessary since you can put coins in friend matches, and score from bot matches could be determined by bot difficulty. But it still has really nice interface and works very smoothly and it is very easy to pla with friends

The ads seem to be getting more intrusive and whilst I understand ad funding is essential for developers the price to remove them is too high. Also please could you introduce a feature to block certain players who are poor sports - i.e. always quit with no option to rematch.
