This app gives inaccurate elevations constantly. I hiked up a roughly 300ft hill and the app said I was at a lower elevation than what I had started at! It lists my neighborhood as a good 500ft higher than what a good topo map says it is. When I walk up nearby hills it again reads that I'm lower than where I started. It keeps asking me to pro when it doesn't do what it's designed to, on even a basic level

I liked everything about this app, and bought the pro version. Today I went on a bike ride with a 900 meter peak and a 990 meter one, the app reported them as 400 and 470. If an altimeter is off by 100% then it is a failure however good the UI might be. (I checked the altitude with both google and open maps to confirm my opinion that they were a lot more than 500)

"Great idea, confusing implementation" sums up my experience. The tiny "record hike" buttons are tucked away in a corner. In one display the altitude gained/lost matches the displayed max/min. In another place, a 300 ft gain was displayed as 11,000+ ft! Trying to display two separate walks in one day failed. The only route shown was the last, ½ mile, walk. The 1.5 - 2.0 mile walk couldn't be displayed. The free app has ads, the $1.99 Pro app doesn't. Overall, the app is disappointing.

The only issue Ive had so far is: if you set the units to imperial.. and adjust the checkpoint. the default is 1mile but, for me, when adjusting the scale they were showing metic instead. ie: 5km.. 10km.. etc. i assume it is a display bug. upon exiting the settings menu and going back in it comverts to the correct units. when changed again it does the same display bug. hope it helps. im using the app for a roadtrip across country. no use for the calorie burn. would be nice to disable also. cheers

Ive tried most so called "offline" altimeters that absolutely do not work without internet. Just location tracking ad portals completely useless when needed. This app appeared initially to simply convert my devices baro sensor to altitude and chart it over time. Perfect. . Im not holding my breath. Unfortunately once i calibrated it using location and gps it would no longer funtion as above. Trash bin.

The app always gives alltitude, that's a positive amd it has a feature that would be nice if it worked properly. It is supposed to track your hike with a graph of altitude gains amd losses along with distance BUT, it randomly switches off. It's a bit useless. I can ise something less for that.

One of the best altitude gazing apps out there. Quite accurate too. Simple UX and very easy to use. Has other features, such as, Record Activity (Distance Covered) but don't use them much. BEST PART, it work offline! Very handy for a hiker.

I found that buildings make some effect. The error is only 2m. But I hope to add new feature let us to make a new reference 'zeroing' our actual level beside sea water level.. + or - . I mean to reset the zero level and make start from y actual level instead or beside sea water level.
