It started out fun. I am a hobbyist photographer and I figured this would be great to kill time and see where I "measure up." It was fun for a while but then I ended up at the level of Master and I've stagnated there for the past 6 months. Other reviews are totally accurate that if you want to win you must spend money for exposure. They say its unbiased but all I ever see wining competions are Gurus themselves. I know my photography is not bad and better than some of the "Gurus" on this app.

Gurushots is a different experience on the app compared to the online website version. The app is critically limited in some of its capabilities, such as being able to bid for challenges, seeing full-sized images when participating in Turbo challenges, as well as the general navigation. The app is sufficient for team challenges and basic game play, but I would recommend the website if you want to explore the full GS product.

Just irritated! Started playing with my wife and daughter but my app doesn't look or operate like theirs. For some reason I can only get pay flash challenges with no way of playing without purchasing a coin bundle. while they have all sorts of options. Some of which are free to . Makes no sense.

From 5 🌟 to 1..., I would give 0 if possible. It has been nothing but frustration lately. And by lately, I meant at least the last five months. I can't when was the last all-star achieved. The matching algorithm for team match matches you with teams 4000 points ahead of your team. It is a miracle, I guess, that I have achieved a master status since I can't skilled or popular in voting. I purchased coins but can't spend them, it say not enough when I have 900 more than needed. WTH

It's kinda fun seeing how well your photo skills are. However, it doesn't do as d. It was d that you would get for your shots from others. But you can't even see the ranking or winners after a challenge is over. A lot of challenges are locked behind micro transactions, which I paid real money to enter hoping for some or at least be able to see the winners so I can get some kind of inspiration.

Definitely not what I thought it was. Don't be a fool like me and buy a bunch of the $8.99 and $7.99 magazine and other exposure tasks. Legit, I thought there was real prize money on the line with each contest.. until I actually wised up and realized it was just "worth of guru boosters". So... Instead of $3000, it's like 200 swap, fill, and key items that just help boost your images. If you want to just compete and rise in the ranks for fun, do that. But there is no actual money to be won. :(

When I'm able to use this (when I have data) then it's easy for any onlooker to see that I love it! The many competitions are a blast to participate in and all the practice I've gotten through the app has really helped me to improve my skills as a photographer. 7/11 newst update prevents reloading of main challenge page by swiping. Now you have to shut the app and reopen to reload 👎 Big inconvenience. You cannot search your own photos unless you are ing a challenge. Also a big inconvenience. The game itself is fun, seeing pictures, sharing yours, but the app is clumsy & takes away from the experience I'm updating to add that I did them & they did this on purpose! They have made this app less fun & more difficult to use for no reason
