I've been playing this game for almost 2 years and it doesn't disappoint. I'd say the best part is that once you get a hero, you don't necessarily need a copy to upgrade it. Universal gene hybrids help with that. So you're never stuck with a useless character because you can't pull it. And no money necessary either. F2P can be a slight grind, but it's really nothing compared to other similar games. Give EE a shot!

Been playing 2+ years. This used to be a great game. Over time, the rewards have been getting worse and worse. Even p2w, the rewards are bad. If they think that I'll spend money and get bad rewards, I'll spend more, they are wrong. Give better rewards. New content to get your money is clearly a money grab. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GAME OR COMPANY.

Great characters and game concept. Unfortunately the game devs cannot seem to create a balanced game. They come out with characters non stop, and silently nerf others to get you to pay for the new characters. Game play has been stalled with no new content in over a year. This on top of the constant bugs with the new characters, the balance is lacking, you are constantly fighting to as the game kicks you out daily repeatedly multiple times. This is a known issue for the last year.

3/4 of any time spent in the game is pressing a button to accept something. Do this stupid thing, you get a prize, press to confirm. Now that you confirmed acceptance, hit some buttons to go to the location your prize is because you don't really get it until you select it and confirm you want to collect it. Then you can hit some buttons to actually use it. button that refreshes the screen with a start button. Different servers, get rid of them and focus on one and fix the lag.

I have played this for over a year and as time has gone on the game has become more and more pay to play. It is too bad to cause in the beginning it was a fun game. Not anymore. You won't be able to keep up with anyone cause they roll out new top tier characters that you'll need to buy to stay up with. Theyve turned greedy like all the others.

The game does a lot of things really well. And I don't feel forced to play for 8 hours a day but if I put time in I can progress. Sound,voices,and music are perfect. Some characters lack a face to connect with,but the voices give them personality. You can auto battles or take control. You can regear, reset, rebuild your characters anytime without cost. Some aspects of a rpg should never have a cost.The devs seem to get that it's fun to tinker, finally the reset timezone is good for US players.

A decent game. Unlike a game like Raid, dailies don't take forever. My issue which made it boring for me was that there were no real tactics to fights. Put your champs in and auto. Also, I found gear upgrades wierd and annoying since some can be leveled to different levels than others the same color. But it is definitely accessible to f2p, just expect it to be a little bit of a slog like all of these games tend to be.

Updated review: I constantly felt blocked by not having enough copies of my champions to unlock their potential. Also, the inconsistent terminology is a huge problem, which makes understanding the game difficult. The game will refer to multi hit champions or AOE champions or CC champions without really telling you who they're talking about. What's a generalist bond? I still don't know. Not a bad game, but not exactly fun either. I loved the rift puzzles but completed them all.
