Absolutely terrible now, they want 60 dollars to be able to more than one area on the map see things in more than one state. They say it's due to size but each region is like 2-4mb so not that big. I travel from AZ to Utah and Nevada, so you have to one state, then delete every time. I would be willing to pay a few bucks to have permanent access to the states I need tops, definitely not a subscription.

I get that the business model was unsustainable, and they needed to start charging for the app. What I don't understand is why iOverlander 2 is so clunky and ugly compared with the straightforward and utilitarian original version. Then again, I feel this way about oh so many tech updates... somehow slowly making what was once straightforward into an experience that is much more confusing and difficult for the .

I see a lot of improvement in this new version! I like the functionality a lot. It's a lot less finicky and cumbersome. The UI has vastly improved. As others has stated ing areas in the map is not ideal however I understand why this was done. Advertisments aren't too intrusive, I understand the Dev needs to the app somehow. I look forward to seeing how this app improves in the future.

Update, they must have improved things since I last tried to use it. Interface is fine. I'd pay for it but, not $60/$100 that's a lot more than Gaia. If it was like the legacy version I would pay $30 maybe as much as 50but it would have to be good. 60/100 a year would make it one of my most expensive apps and the most expensive one that relies entirely on 's information. It's not like we're getting copywrited materials

Absolute nose dive for the app. No new features other than ads and incredibly restrictive map system. For $60 a year you can only view 3 states! It costs $100 to view them all. For a driven platform this is disgustingly greedy. It's clear they're trying to copy the onx business model. I would ask the developer to take a honest look at those apps and justify paying MORE for their nearly featureless app. If they first app comes down I'll never use this platform again.

Would be ok if they just kept the map browsing feature as it is in the original all. But now it requires to a region and you can only browse that region. Major step back. Also, the old app used Google maps so it shows shops/restaurants etc that is useful for context. The new app uses something else, that has no details. ** In response to the developer: I never faced a challenge with points loading, and didn't feel they needed to be available offline. I will continue using the old app.

I was finally able to get locations to , but this still seems like a poor design choice. ing a specific location seems to be so you can have offline use of the locations as other states show data even without being ed. I'd recommend that when first opening the app it guides the directly to the locations page, this will probably help prevent more negative reviews due to confusion of this design.

Essentially unusable. Was genuinely excited when I saw there was a new app and ed it. That excitement immediately vanished after a few minutes trying to use it. Seems as though you guys didn't do any research before building this and then did no usability testing before launching.
