Recently MX Player has been having significant issues. This is the only acceptable alternative that I've been able to find. It's missing several key features that I enjoyed with MX Player, but overall it's a good app and worth the small investment.

Love this! It finds all of my videos, automatically, regardless of which app I used to them. I just wish the folders would sort by which has the most recent file, instead of only by name. But otherwise has pretty much all that I am looking for. Very happy with my purchase.

Everything was great, till I rearranged my folders. It was working fine. I decided to rearrange the files from s into sub folders. After that my app stopped working. It's actually opening, rescanning and showing some file also, but unable to play because it references to the old location. I tried rescan, changing the file location, moving the folder, nothing worked. Everytime it rescans but disappointed with invalid links and not able to play anything.

Time to time the app erases my songs and playlist, etc, doesn't uninstall them but it happens, I'm pretty sure it's my SD card and the internal memory are getting in the middle of it (unsure) but i don't know how to stop it, on the other hand it's a great app, no ads, has playlists, never pings you for random stuff like "Listen to this!" nothing like that which is great, even works while the phone is off, not dead but off, love a lot of the features too. unsure if the bad part is a my problem.

great player. too bad it also wants to be a library and scan my phone with 256gb, and ends up hogging the whole system for hours (scanning)! it would be 5 starts if it was just a player. reply: i really can't set the settings, because even when i manage to get to it (after so much slow down) no matter what setting it allows me to change (which aren't all of them, because some are blocked due to "scanning going through"), it'll still try to do a "first scan" anyway. apparently still today!! 😒

Decided to buy this when my in-built media player on my Samsung S21U wouldn't let me select audio channels. Worked well, has a lot of options it seems. You could probably get a free player to do the same but I like that it is still being ed. Edit: The only thing I'd like to see added is to be able to resume position in video playlist playback.

Video clarity wise not good please try to improve playing FULL HD and 4K resolution videos on my ONEPLUS 11 Device, when try to play audios it's closes automatically

Hat's off to the developers, this App is the best of the best. Both it's replay picture and sound quality is second to none. The OPlayer is fully functional with display format settings and resolution set ups, the audio settings are also impressive. Believe me when I say this phenomenal App you will not be disappointed.
