Latest update introduced a bug where after a while of not listening, pressing play from the notification bar does not work and you have to open the app to press play and for everything to work normally again. Also, after force stopping the app, it will eventually open itself in the background again. Please add view customisation options (e.g. list view, smaller tiles, toggle between expanded vs title only view for episodes). The app is great but clunky feeling.

This has been my go-to podcast app for several years (and phones) now. Pretty much everything I have looked for I can find with Guru. The only thing that bugs me is that even though I have it set not to let other devices auto start the playback, it always starts when I get into my vehicle. I hope this can be addressed and fixed. =)

I really like this app! It's easy to use, looks clean, and lets me rearrange into groups. The only issue I'm having is that it occasionally skips backwards while I'm listening, and has started doing it every time I stop listening entirely. I now have to check where I am in the pod so I can go back to the appropriate place when I start back. This seems to have gotten worse with the recent Android update. Otherwise, very, very nice app.

I love this podcast app! It's the best I've tried so far and I've tried a lot. Edit: the app has started rewinding about 20 minutes previous. Not sure why. I start the car, listen on my way to work - then when I get in the car again to leave work to go home, the app has rewound my podcast (like I said, about 20 minutes worth). So weird and annoying. Not sure if it's fixable.

Easy to use and customize. Did not want to leave Google Podcasts, but have no choice. Of all the major Android podcasts I've tried over a period of several months, this is by far the best. No skipping, no repeating itself, and super ready to customize. Able to my podcasts from one app to this one easily. Very happy with this as my Google Podcasts replacement.

This app has some truly fantastic features, such as tagging, playlists, etc. The one big bummer which will probably stop me from using it as my default is that you can't seem arbitrarily order items in your playlists (e.g. I want to set a specific order to my podcasts beyond simple sorting). Also, for smart playlists, it would be very useful to be able to trim the number of episodes so I could create lists like "morning news" that would only have the latest episode from each of my feeds.

For those like me who use web apps more than mobile: I really wanted to love this platform, and I bought into the VIP features hopeful that it would let me switch seamlessly between mobile and web, as Google's had. Alas, the web version seems to be completely neglected; a section that says "new features here soon" hasn't changed since I bought the subscription nearly a year ago. All it needs is the ability to sync the "latest" podcast list and this would be 4, maybe even 5 stars!

This is my favorite podcast app after the demise of Google podcasts. Content discovery platform is great. In of playback I look for three things (1) for offline = check (2) variable speed and trimming = check (3) playlists = check. Id love to see a little more control of auto delete of old or already heard content. My only real issue is that some playlists disappear when offline if even one episode of the list was not ed.
