The app is pretty good but has room for improvement. #1. A dark Theme would be great for people who prefer to use that. #2. It would be great if we could edit the following router settings; Change the channels, Adjust the bandwidth, and maybe even import and export the list of clients. #3. An app system backup and import feature saved as a .bin file. That way, we could restore the app data if anything goes wrong.

Information on app is slow to adjust, inaccurate -says devices connected to WiFi are connected via Ethernet cable. TP-link tech /Cust service is extremely poor, they barely speak English and totally misconstrue what you tell them. If you don't need any help ever and know how to to router via web browser then its fine.

10-15-24 edit*** they added a security setting which I was incredibly excited about because I brought it down to four stars because they didn't have this feature and although now they have this feature You cannot use it. All it does is crash the site and start over so it's not accessible whatsoever! Fist rating: Im Impressed! Really enjoying this app, easy startup and now I can get rid of 3 apps ive been using to monitor my wifi!

Horrible experience with s. Parent controls will randomly keep devices limited on the network due to the bedtime settings. I've had to completely remove bedtimes from all my children's devices because they would randomly remain locked until I removed bedtimes. The content filtering is extremely over aggressive. Even blocking things that I have specifically whitelisted. Quick management of basic settings? Sure. But you're forced to use this garbage for bug filled features.

Have been experiencing router issues since most recent updates. Cannot name clients, app closes when trying. Also, difficulty linking to extenders properly. Needs investigation by TP. Update 10.23.2024: Still issues with app that need corrected. Also, I do not need anti-virus attached to your app, I have my own! My phone has now placed this app into deep sleep due to continuing crashes. Please update and repair this.

I thought I would give this app a second chance because I wanted more flexibility in managing our router unit. And, even though my unit is on their compatible list, the app could not find it, so it could not connect to it. After multiple reboots, it still could not find my unit. The router (Archer C9) itself seems to work fine, but for some reason, this app can not find it and connect. TPLink doesn't seem to offer any solutions.

While the initial setup was a BREEZE, the continued use of the app leaves a bit to be desired. I would like to have an option to get a push notification when a new device connects to the network. I also cannot actually see the devices connected reliably. Sometimes over half of them just say unknown with no indication of even what type of device it is. At least then you could narrow it down possibly but as is it's pretty useless. The router works beautifully and for that I'm grateful.

Solid app for a solid wifi router. I can't say it's amazing but it definitely does the job just fine. Honestly it's a lot better then most. The total network data used tab of the app is broken though. It also says that devices that are not connected through Ethernet ARE connected through Ethernet. Everything else works fine though. The web based interface is a 10/10 though.
