It would be incredible if the minor issues were fixed. There's a great game in here somewhere. But there's not enough features that warrant playing. Also, it's a little too fast paced and there will occasionally be things in game that are actually impossible to avoid and it makes playing very annoying. Plus, having to use your finger to drag the ship creates a huge blind spot making it much more difficult to see enemies. Not to mention the currency system is way too stingy with giving coins.

First impressions - very challenging and fun. It's interesting to me how the reskinned but still charmingly retro aesthetic hides a surprisingly challenging game. I play the "bullet storm" subgenre of these types of games and been able to get so much farther in them than on this one, but I like that. I also like that it's not absolutely covered in ads and doesn't really force anything in your face; it just wants you to come in and have fun. I hope it doesn't let me down.

THIS SUCKS! Looks great, appears as if it SHOULD be a great game, but it SUCKS. Tap the wrong button & you're forced to watch a commercial to buy more games. Minimize the screen during commercial, then enlarge again, commercial starts over. Every few minutes more commercials. Advance to another stage, more commercials. I don't want to buy different games I want to play this game w/out interruptions. I'd pay just to play without interruptions. Plus I prefer the 'old-school' version. THIS SUCKS!

I'm old enough to the original version of this game in the arcade. So I was pumped to see this game available on android. After about 10 minutes of game play the disappointment settled in. First off the controls are screwed up and your thumb interferes with your line of sight. So you get blind sided and killed quite a bit. Having a joy stick and fire button option would alleviate that. Watching ads to continue a single game is highly annoying as well. I have it 2 stars for nostalgia.

A really good space shooter! This game pays tribute to the amazing shoot'em-ups of the 80s & 90s. Many mobile space shooters feel like bad impersonators, but Galaga wars nails it. The controls are simplistic, yet fun. The stages are memorable, the ship selection is awesome (I love the starblade ship), and the enemies are (mostly) fair. Yes, it has bulletstorm moments, but that's perfect for a game like this. This is the best space shooter on mobile phones and you should give it a try!

One of the best mobile games I've played. Since I was a kid, I always liked Galaga but was terrible at it! But this game I've been able to get good at. I played a few minutes every day for months, slowly getting better weapons, more ships, and more skill. It has been fun and rewarding to slowly unlock more of the game. Very well designed. There can be a lot of ads. My suggestion is to pay a few bucks and buy the Galaga 88 ship. This will remove mandatory ads. Recommended!

The game was great until the last update. It used to run perfectly for me, at 60 FPS, now I get ugly drops (studder, lag) when there are explosions. On my brother's cell it's become unplayable. Other than that, the content is good, the skill tree is engaging, and it overall play(ed)s really well.

A really fun and challenging game. Controls of this game is really difficult to play, and the actual difficulty of the game itself gets even harder the more you progress. Its hard at the beginning when you first start playing, but as you get used to the controls as well as how the game works, you can definitely play this at ease just as long as you are prepared. You can level up your ships to become stronger, thus making the journey a lot easier. Overall, really fun game.
