Great ad blocker. The only thing I absolutely HATE about this app is that there is no way to disable it without it automatically turning itself back on randomly. Sometimes I want to view sites that will not work with an ad blocker, and it is so freaking annoying when I turn Ad Blocker off, only to have it turn itself on again and I lose connection with the sites. This needs to be fixed. When you turn the app off, it needs to stay OFF until the is ready to turn it on again.

I had specifically bought it to block ads on news sites like timesofindia and zeenews and it used to work quite well. But last month it stopped blocking ads on TOI and now it stopped blocking ads on zeenews as well. It has lots of other problems as well which other s described in their reviews. I was able to withstand is nuisances so far, but today was the last straw. Uninstalling it right now.

I didn't get to use Ad Blocker Pro much, as it requires Google Play to be enabled, I refuse to keep GP enabled as GP forces a much undesired update of the YouTube app daily. It seemed such a wonderful app for the short time I tried it. Uninstalled and off to find a free version that doesn't require Google Play to operate.

8/2/2024 Here we are again. Shuts itself off constantly and blocks nothing. Thought it was fixed. It was just a tease. 10 days of working perfectly and now back to constantly shutting off in the middle of browsing. Will edit and update when it decides to properly again. It works! No more annoying pop-up ads and videos when browsing!!! It's absolutely worth it!

maybe I'm not doing something right, but it's not blocking what I wanted it to. example YT videos. I might have missed an important note before or during install. wouldn't recommend if you you want to block YT ADS.

It blocks ads, but it requires you to allow it to display over other apps, and it sends unnecessary notifications that you have to enable. The display over other apps is nearly—but not quite—as annoying as the ads themselves. 3 stars, because it does the job, and I am probably not going to delete it, but I continue to actively look for a better option so I can have the functionality I actually want.

$2.99 is a small price to pay to save A LOT of what is undoubtedly the most vauluable thing we all possess... our time! I made it a point to find an article, on the Android device that I use, on the Chrome browser that I use, that was riddled with ads. And then I went back to the article right after I purchased this app and set it up. There weren't any ads in the whole article now! Needless to say, it was a beautiful sight to behold...
