"Sahel" App is a Unified Government Application for e-services for various government agencies. Through this application, the citizen and resident can perform their services and transactions easily, quickly, and effectively according to the highest quality standards, to provide a new experience to accomplish government transactions.

The App provides an integrated platform for citizens and residents to receive notifications and announcements from all government agencies, gain access to all government services, and contributes to improving the provision of services electronically.

Services provided by "Sahel" App:
• Data: Enables identifying the status of the relationship for (citizen/resident) with the government through official documents, status, and expiry dates.
• Services: Allows applying for services provided by government agencies to the public.
• Notifications: Provides alerts and reminders from government agencies to the public that shows the status of the service provided.

Not available in English . Do you really expect everyone to be able to read Arabic. Why isn't there any English option available yet it's been so long since the app was launched, and every other app that you have integrated into this app has an option to view it and operate it in English. For example, KUWAIT CIVIL ID AND MEW . It's really frustrating, especially when you get a notification and you have no idea what it means. PLEASE PROVIDE AN OPTION TO VIEW THE APP IN English.

6.12.2024, not every option is available in the English version. 3.10.2024, Finally, they made app in engish. 24.08.2022 App name only in English. Other all in arabic. Why only in arabic language 😕. As usual, don't care about expats.

Have been trying to open the app for the past 6 hours but seems not able to connect to Kuwait Mobile ID though verification was done. Need better bandwidth for the service as it takes too long to log-in. I have waited months for the app but ended up disappointed. Updated ( 06/23 ) : The app have improved significantly as now you can access it outside Kuwait and more services have been added to it but still it lacks language selection which is a major down side and it is still have bugs.

I see that the app interface is now available in English, but the area selections in the biometric enrollment option are still in Arabic. I hope this will be updated soon for improved interactivity.

This application is not good because people from other countries cannot change the address in it and the option given to apply for Civil ID is of no use, therefore if there is a civil card then the Sahel application will open and if it is not there then it will not open. That's why there is no benefit from this application.

IT is honestly sad, as we have modernized the state of communication and the Government is working so hard to make CIVIL mattters easy to complete, however this is one application that we need to find a trust worthy person to read, explain and then update the same in Arabic. Much appreciated if the application could be in English as well.

I had uninstalled the app on my phone due to not working properly. Now, when I try to reinstall, it is just pausing in the entry menu where I have to enter the 12 digits CIVIL ID number. This app must have an English version too... It's difficult to understand the Arabic version since we are not that fluent in Arabic language.
