I never wanted to make a podcast. I simply tried to use their "free" auto caption service. They made me wait ages just to suddenly tell me I need to start a free trial. I signed up and started a free trial. Then suddenly I need to their app. I ed their app. Now there's no option to actually transcribe the video I wanted from the beginning, this is a completely unrelated app just for recording videos. Total waste of time.

I've been testing it for a couple of times now. Firstly, I must say that if you want a good, clear end product then make sure you have a good network coverage on your mobile when you are saving your work. I am thinking of using this app for my YouTube channel but still figuring out the best suited layout. I'll have to find for a tutorial to learn more. Anyhow, Riverside.fm is definitely worth looking into.

Recording your podcast with this is extremely simple and easy to do. Easy to get people ing the stream as well. My issue is there is no editing capabilities whatsoever pretty much. You can trim your clips... that's it. I simply wanna adjust a few audio levels, add a intro in. Basic stuff. One of our microphones is a little loud and i can only normalize audio by exporting...which isn't direct control.

Nothing but issues. Constantly drops you out of the studio and won't allow for exporting the episode. Paid nearly $300 and tech is not responsive. They just keep saying to reach out to the page, but they are NOT RESPONDING. The app is completely worthless as they don't allow you to use their tools or export the episode to Spotify. They are extremely quick to take your $300 though.

Not bad. Contrary to what they say you can't just share directly to Spotify, just like anywhere else you've gotta then . The trim function is much less precise than what Spotify used to have as well. The AI builds an automatic transcript which is nice. You can host multiple people (so long as you're on a computer and not mobile) Overall it's pretty good but it's not the most friendly and intuitive

We started out our podcast on anchor. Since then, it changed to Spotify, and now we have to use riverside, then much more steps to post a new show. For the last 2 weeks, our recordings have not been published. We will be looking for another app to record with.

Honestly the worst app. Takes forever to . God forbids someone phones you on your phone before the finishes and you answer than the just hangs at 50% cannot access the file at all. So that's a losg episode I'm not getting back.

Doesn't seem to have the same features as desktop does. And, despite limited features (record, clip/trim, ), the app overheats my phone not 10 minutes into a recording.
